Team Profile

Adam Carson

Automotive Service Technician

Since I was young, I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands. My father was a carpenter and my mother was an enabler, allowing me to fix or tear apart almost anything that was broken. I built wooden projects with my dad and on my own. My parents purchased a used vehicle when I was 10 years old and the antenna had been broken. The used dealer supplied a new antenna but did not install it. I took it upon myself to install it alone with great success. During high school my passion for cars grew rapidly and I knew I was going to be a mechanic.

I first met Bill Vanderheyden when I was 20 years old. I pulled up to his shop in my lowered Mazda with a loud exhaust to inquire about a job. Bill asked me if that was my car and I replied yes. He then said he would like me to start next week. I worked with Wim and the crew for the summer and then moved on as Bill had hired another licenced technician. Wim and I stayed in touch, hanging out or working on our project cars together after hours from time to time. I joined the team again in 2015 and have grown to love working on European cars.
